Additionally, your progress through the different levels is dependent on how many images and videos customers download or purchase per year. Every year on January 1st, they reset all contributor’s levels to level 1.
Therefore, with Shutterstock, the more customers buy your content, the more money you earn. You earn more as you license more content and move up the different levels.
PayPal, Payoneer, and Skrill+ are currently the only payment method. You can choose a minimum payout amount and a payment method. Shutterstock will pay you once a month.

Shutterstock requires you to be 18 years old to create an account. You may only have one account at a time. You can also turn your account into a business account.
